Why a Compactor is Better than an Open-Top Container

Does your business currently have an open-top container? Does your business fill that container frequently? If so, you might want to consider purchasing or renting a trash compactor. Trash compactors can save money, time, and prevent dirty messes.

Compactors require less labor and time to break down waste (like boxes) and physically carry it to the container. A big reason companies invest in a compactor is because they can save money on hauling costs. A compactor alone can eliminate 3 out of 4 hauling trips! Less hauling trips from heavy garbage trucks can also extend the life of the pavement, too.

Compactors have closed containers which can reduce rodents and insects from getting in. They also help contain and minimize the trash odor. Having a sealed container improves safety and is great for protecting disposed confidential data from being tampered with. This also prevents random people from using your containers to dispose of whatever they wish to get rid of. And lastly, by having a compactor, you don’t have to worry about the weather (snow, rain, hot sun, wind, etc.) creating a mess with your waste.
